About MASS Volunteering
MASS is visiting high schools to help students get to know more about statistics-based studies and careers, including actuarial studies, econometrics, data analytics and business statistics. All of these are areas of study offered at Monash University.
Discover the incredible impact you can make as a volunteer:
The MASS volunteer team brings together a group of students who will visit various schools in Melbourne to deliver engaging presentations to high school students seeking direction for their future careers and a spark of motivation. The team will interact with students by sharing their personal experiences as individuals pursuing a degree in the actuarial field, providing an authentic glimpse into the journey of studying actuary at Monash. These visits will take place throughout the year, and volunteers will have the chance to select which schools they would like to visit. Additionally, there is the opportunity to arrange visits to specific schools of interest.
